Really Really Old News

Recovered memories from my blog archives
I have something fun and funny to share with you today. I did a search online for the oldest archived version of my website www.OnesGallery.com, which was the precursor of www.JuanSepulveda.com, and I found some delightful content there. I had searched for it to see what were some of the earlier blog posts I had created for my artist page and to read them, just like one would pull an old journal from the bookshelf to relive old memories. To my surprise, the entries were sparse but a sobering reminder of how much time has gone by and how many experiences I have simply stored way too deep in the recesses of my memory. It was only after reading those entries that I was able to retrieve those dusty memories.
Among those dusty memories, I came across an article that was published by the Osceola Sentinel on March of 2002 by Beth Browning. In it, I share some insights into what I thought at the time the future held for me in my artistic career. It truly is a fun exercise for me to read that interview carefully and compare it with how my career evolved and if I still hold on to some of those initial ideas (I will hold those close to my heart until it is time to share them with you). Here's the article:

The image of the article may be too small and blurry to read, but if you are interested in reading it, let me know in the comments and I will extract the text and publish it on a separate blog post.
Below, I will share with you some of those entries in my blog. They were SUPER short, but I am glad I captured them. They are basically small informational entries about things that were happening in my career at the time. I will include a few photos of the creation of the Winter Park Mural. You're not going to believe the baby face on me! 😂
(Also, look at the early iterations of my artist signature. So much has changed)
